What to Expect at Your First Visit
(Consultation + Initial Treatment)
Your first visit includes:
A focused consultation to review your condition
An evaluation of the area causing discomfort
Your first Shockwave treatment
During treatment, we move the applicator over the affected region to identify the most reactive or sensitive areas. Once the primary pain source is identified, we concentrate treatment there to maximize healing stimulation.
Most sessions last approximately 5-15 minutes depending on the area treated.
Ongoing Care & Treatment Plans
While some patients notice improvement after their first visit, Shockwave Therapy works best as part of a treatment series. This is not typically a one-visit solution.
Most care plans range between 8-12 sessions, depending on:
Severity of the condition
Chronicity of the injury
Your activity level
Your recovery goals
Many patients report meaningful improvement after 3-4 treatments, with continued progress throughout the full plan.
We will recommend a care plan tailored specifically to your condition and goals.

Shockwave for Athletes
For active individuals and competitive athletes, recovery time matters.
Shockwave Therapy supports faster tissue repair by increasing circulation and reducing inflammatory stress in injured areas. Rather than masking symptoms, it works to stimulate true healing at the source.
When combined with chiropractic care, manual therapy, and functional rehabilitation, Shockwave Therapy becomes a powerful performance and recovery-tool. Many athletes use it to:
Speed up post-injury recovery
Enhance tissue resilience
Shorten downtime after procedures
Maintain peak performance
Shockwave for Age-Related Joint & Tendon Pain
Stiffness and chronic pain are common as we age - but they don’t have to define how you move.
Shockwave Therapy helps improve circulation to joints, tendons, and muscles that may have slowed in their healing capacity. By stimulating regenerative activity and reducing inflammation, it can help restore comfort and mobility.
Conditions such as arthritis, bursitis, and chronic tendonitis often respond well to this regenerative approach.
Staying active is critical for long-term health—and reducing pain makes movement possible again.
For Patient Who Prefer to Avoid Medication
If you’re looking for a natural alternative to anti-inflammatory medications, Shockwave Therapy may be a great option.
This treatment activates your body’s own healing mechanisms without introducing drugs into your system. It stimulates repair without causing tissue damage and without the systemic side effects often associated with medication use.
For Patients Hoping to Avoid Surgery
If you are trying to delay or avoid surgery due to a degenerative or chronic condition, Shockwave Therapy may provide a non-invasive alternative.
By improving blood flow and reducing inflammation at the source, it supports tissue regeneration and functional improvement. When paired with chiropractic care and manual therapy, many patients experience meaningful relief that helps them postpone or avoid surgical intervention.
